Our Definition of Entrepreneurship
We see entrepreneurship as an exciting income generation opportunity for people with disabilities who have found their disability to be employment limiting and want to operate a business that matches their talents and interests. The spirit of independence in entrepreneurship fits well with the self-empowerment aspect of the disability rights movement.
Opportunity, advocacy and advancement for people with disabilities.
Our number one achievement has been to prove that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are capable of owning and operating their own business. We are the only program providing entrepreneurship training and business incubation for this demographic.
